 The chair is a reworking of earler designs used in Spanish open-air cafes. Its Perforated ribs allude to antique armour, while its title refers to the city renowned for the sharpness of its steel sword blades. Architect and industrial designer Jorge Pensi brings his forward-looking aesthetic to the Toledo stacking chair. Toledo chair included in the Permanent Collection of the Vitra Design Museum. A fluid combination of cast aluminum back and seat sections joined by tubular aluminum arms and legs make the Toledo Chair exceptionally sturdy, yet light in weight. Available in a broad range of shapes and sizes (small cafe to generous dining table) and three unique top finishes. Appropriate for use both indoors and out. |
